About James Abbott

James had his own run-in and personal battle with anxiety, which he managed to break free from having come across some powerful methodologies of acceptance and understanding which removed all power from his anxiety.

And it was with this newfound wisdom that he felt compelled to become a wellness coach where he now works with anxiety sufferers to help them change how they view their anxiety, and in doing so, completely alter their life for the better

He is also part of the My Mental Health Rocks team where he visits school delivering presentations to educate children on mental health and emotional wellbeing.

In this chat, we dive into James story, while uncovering the thoughts that were causing his anxiety and how he was able to alter them to completely change his reality. With lots of great metaphors throughout.

And while I forgot to ask whilst recording, YES, he still lives in the same house!

James top three tips:

  1. It’s ok to be lost in it. It will pass. Trust.
  2. To loved ones; be human with them. Sit and listen.
  3. Don’t try and fix it. Get curious.
